How do I set up my Catit Carrier for air travel / public transport?

For public modes of transport, it is necessary to permanently assemble (see illustration) the top to the base by the use of screws (size: M 3.5, length: min. 3,81 cm / #6-32, min. 1.5” L) or heavy-duty plastic cable ties (width: 0,48 cm, length: min. 12,70 cm / 3/16”, min. 5” L). The use of a padlock to firmly secure the door during travel is also required. Before traveling, it is always recommended that you contact your public transport service for information on specific requirements. Please note that the Catit Carrier does not include any screws, cable ties or padlock.

How do I know which size carrier is right for my cat?

Select a carrier based on your cat’s adult size. Ensure that there is enough room in the carrier for your cat to stand up.

What size are the carriers?

Catit Carrier SMALL – for cats up to 24 cm / 9.5 in tall*:
48,3 x 32,6 x 28 cm / 19 x 12.8 x 11 in (LxWxH)

Catit Carrier MEDIUM – for cats up to 27 cm / 10.5 in tall*:
56,5 x 37,6 x 30,8 cm / 22 x 14.8 x 12 in (LxWxH)

How do I clean the Catit Carrier?

All components can be washed with warm water, using a soft sponge and dishwashing soap. Never use aggressive detergents or an abrasive sponge. Ensure all parts are completely dry before putting them back together.
