Hello everyone and welcome to my page!
My name is Diana Moshe. I am crazy about animals and addicted to colors.
If you’d ask my friends to describe me, all of them would say: “she loves animals and she loves to paint.” I am 27 years old, married to a talented and super creative chef and together we’re raising Sandy – a cat we adopted a year ago from the Toronto Humane Society.
The three of us live in a small and cute apartment inside which I have my own painting studio.
For as long as I can remember I have been painting while surrounded by my wonderful pets. Every week I used to find an abandoned animal like a cat, a dog, a hedgehog, or a bird that fell from its nest. I just couldn’t leave those poor animals out on the street so I would take them home with me. I can’t believe how patient and tolerant my mom was about it. Thanks, mom!
Over the past few years, my love for animals grew even further as I started to paint animal portraits. Nowadays, I’m specialized in custom-made pet’s portraits.
Every time I send off a painting to its new owner, I am excited like a little child! One of my dreams is to be able to attach a small camera to the painting so I can be part of the delivery, just to see the people’s reaction.
Most of my paintings are made in watercolor but lately I started to draw in acrylic as well. I combine conventional techniques with moody and free spirit improvisation. When I draw, each animal provides me with a different energy and from there, I just let the creativity flow.
