Artworks can be uploaded between December 1, 2025 at 12:00:00 a.m. HST and January 25, 2026 at 12:00:00 a.m. HST.
Voting can be done between January 30, 2026 at 12:00:00 a.m. HST and February 25, 2026 at 12:00:00 a.m. HST.
The winners will be announced in the My Cat Exclusive Magazine issue of March 2026. In addition, the winners will be notified of their winnings though email in the first weeks of March 2026
The artist
You have to be the sole creator of the artwork you enter in the contest.
Entrants must be a legal resident of, and the age of majority in their country of residence, at the time of entry.
Participation in previous editions of the Catit International Cat Art Contest does not exclude you from entering the 2026 edition. However, prior participants are required to submit an original artwork that has not been entered in any previous edition of the contest.
No purchase necessary.
When uploading an artwork, the artist will be required to enter a link to their social media or website where their work is visible. This information will only be used to confirm that the work was manually made by an actual artist and not digitally and/or by computer software.
The artwork
The artworks entered in this contest must adhere to the central theme: cats.
We’re looking for arts and crafts made with non-digital media and techniques, including painting, drawing, etching, sculpting, moulding, quilling, embroidery, felting, woodworking, pottery, glasswork, fabric, and much more!
All submitted artworks must be original creations. Artworks made using commercially available kits will be disqualified from consideration. E.g. paint by numbers, diamond paintings, cross-stitch.
Photography, digital illustrations and other digital creations as well as (partly) AI-generated artworks are ineligible for consideration and will be disqualified.
Any political, hateful, inappropriate or indecent content is not allowed and will be removed.
Any artwork that was submitted in any of the previous editions of the Catit International Cat Art Contest will be disqualified.
Any submission entered into this contest may be used in print or digital form in current and future advertisements, promotional activities and/or events for further promotion of the Catit International Cat Art Contest or the Catit brand without notice or compensation.
When entering an artwork in the contest, you agree to subscribe to the Catit Newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time. This will not affect your odds of winning.

The jury
The jury will review all submissions to make sure they follow the rules and can further decide which artworks move on to the voting round.
If the jury believes an artwork was made using AI or other digital means, and the artist cannot deliver any credible counter-evidence, the artwork will be excluded from the contest.
The voting
Voting can be done between January 30, 2026 at 12:00:00 a.m. HST and February 25, 2026 at 12:00:00 a.m. HST.
To submit a valid vote, each voter must select three works of art.
You can only vote once; additional votes will be removed and only your final selection will be valid.
The vote count will not be made public.
The international prize
The artwork with the most votes on February 25, 2026, at 12:00:00 a.m. HST will be the Grand Winner of the Catit International Cat Art Contest 2026, and will win an iPhone 17 Pro. The Grand Winner can also choose to donate their prize to a cat shelter, in which case the shelter of the winner’s choice will receive a selection of Catit products of equal value to that of an iPhone 17 Pro.
The artwork with the second -highest votes on February 25, 2026 at 12:00:00 a.m. HST will be the Runner-Up in the Catit International Cat Art Contest 2026, and will win an iPhone 17. The Runner-Up can also choose to donate their prize to a cat shelter, in which case the shelter of the winner’s choice will receive a selection of Catit products of equal value to that of an iPhone 17.
No artist can win more than one (1) prize. If the two highest-voted artworks are by the same artist, the runner-up prize will be awarded to the artwork with the most votes submitted by a different artist.
In countries that have an online Catit store, 3 additional prizes will be awarded to the local winner, the local runner-up, and the local third place.
No artist can win more than one (1) prize. The International Grand Prize Winner and First Runner-Up are not eligible to win a local prize from the Catit Brand Store.
Due to local regulations, Rhode Island residents are not eligible to win any prize.

The artwork with the most votes on February 25, 2026, will be deemed the first local prize winner in the Catit International Cat Art Contest 2026 and will receive: A three hundred dollar Catit Prize Pack ($350 CND).
The artwork with the second most votes on February 25, 2026, will be deemed the second local prize winner in the Catit International Cat Art Contest 2026 and will receive: A two hundred dollar Catit Prize Pack ($200 CND).
The artwork with the third most votes on February 25, 2026, will be deemed the third local prize winner in the Catit International Cat Art Contest 2026 and will receive: A one hundred dollar Catit Prize Pack ($100 CND).
Local Winners: United States
The artwork with the most votes on February 25, 2026, will be deemed the first local prize winner in the Catit International Cat Art Contest 2026 and will receive: a $350 gift card to spend in the catit store.
The artwork with the second most votes on February 25, 2026, will be deemed the second local prize winner in the Catit International Cat Art Contest 2026 and will receive: a $200 gift card to spend in the catit store.
The artwork with the third most votes on February 25, 2026, will be deemed the third local prize winner in the Catit International Cat Art Contest 2026 and will receive: a $100 gift card to spend in the catit store.
Local Winners: United Kingdom
The artwork with the most votes on February 25, 2026, will be deemed the first local prize winner in the Catit International Cat Art Contest 2026 and will receive: £300 to spend at Catit.co.uk
The artwork with the second most votes on February 25, 2026, will be deemed the second local prize winner in the Catit International Cat Art Contest 2026 and will receive: £200 to spend at Catit.co.uk
The artwork with the third most votes on February 25, 2026, will be deemed the third local prize winner in the Catit International Cat Art Contest 2026 and will receive: £100 to spend at Catit.co.uk
