Unlike traditional cat drinking fountains, the Catit Flower Fountain has no pump or electronics inside the water reservoir. Instead, the pump motor is safely housed inside the base and powers a magnetic impeller to circulate the water. This keeps the reservoir simple and easy to clean, while providing the continuous water flow and filtration your cat needs. The design also helps reduce noise for quieter, more peaceful operation.
After filling or refilling the water reservoir, lift it from the base for at least 5 seconds before lowering it back into place.
If the fountain still won’t work, check if the impeller is jammed or missing. If the impeller is installed correctly and can rotate freely, follow the step-by-step cleaning instructions to give the fountain a thorough cleaning, removing any grime or obstructions.
