Do these big cats even get along?

Well, we might never know whether they could be friends. After all, these cats live in very different parts of the world. Leopards and cheetahs, to some extent, do share their territory. Cheetahs live in certain regions in Africa, as well as in Iran, while leopards can be found in large parts of sub-Saharan Africa and much of the southern part of Asia. Jaguars – on the other hand – live in the jungles of Central and South America, thousands of miles away from their spotted friends.

Now, who would win this big cat race?

To be honest, this race doesn’t even have to take place to know the outcome. Cheetahs are incredibly lean yet very muscular, and this build enables them to be the fastest land animal, with a top running speed of a staggering 50 to 80 mph (80 to 128 km/h). That’s faster than you’re allowed to drive your car in most places! The runner-up in our big cat race would be the jaguar at a top speed of 50 mph (80 km/h). The bronze medal would be for the leopard, which prefers to lounge in trees, and has a top running speed of ‘only’ 36 mph (58 km/h).
