Catit Senses Ball Dome

Motion-activated cat ball toy with paw-safe cover

As your cat walks past the Catit Senses Ball Dome, the toy sends a bright orange ball rolling that encourages your feline to play. The toy’s inner tilting plate will periodically set the ball in motion again to keep your cat interested.

Interactive cat toy that gets the ball rolling!

The Catit Senses Ball Dome has two built-in motion sensors, so your cat will activate it as soon as they walk by. When this happens, the moving ball immediately draws your cat’s attention, encouraging fun and interactive play. The Ball Dome is also an amazing toy for kittens as it teaches them how to hunt and stalk in a fun way.

Since it’s motion-activated, your cat simply has to walk by the Catit Senses Ball Dome to awaken its tilting plate and get the ball rolling. Once the plate and ball start moving, your cat will be drawn to the sound, and playful pawing ensues! This motion-activated cat toy has a green cover with five openings so your cat can paw and poke away at the moving ball.

Move the slider to switch between modes

The Catit Senses Ball Dome has two modes: continuous and sensor mode. To set the toy to continuous mode, move the slider to the left. This will keep the toy going until switched off or its batteries run out. For the sensor mode, you move the slider to the right. As the name suggests, this setting activates the toy to move only when its motion sensors are triggered. To switch the toy off, put the slider in the middle.

Energy-efficient electronic cat toy with paw-friendly cover

Compared to other electronic cat toys, the Catit Senses Ball Dome only uses a tiny amount of power to function. The toy will also go to sleep when your cat stops playing, resulting in 70% less battery consumption.

All the mechanical parts are hidden away underneath the plate to keep them out of your cat’s reach. The openings in the toy’s cover are paw-friendly as well. They are 1.6 inches (4 cm) in diameter, accommodating all cat breeds from little kittens to large Maine Coons.

Screw-open toy ball allows for extra enrichment

Screw open the ball and put in a small bell or toy to get your cat even more excited to play with their Catit Senses Ball Dome. As the ball is perforated, it allows scents to flow through for your cat’s sensitive nose to pick up on. Try spraying some catnip on a bit of paper towel or fabric and inserting it into the ball to further entice your cat to play.

We discourage putting in treats since your cat wouldn’t be able to get them out, and little crumbs could travel down and potentially damage the mechanics underneath the plate.

Nightly fun and games with Senses Fireball

As the toy’s motion sensors are less efficient at night or in dark rooms, we recommend placing the Catit Senses Ball Dome next to a night light as it gets darker. For nighttime play sessions, you can also use the Senses Fireball. This flashing luminous ball is also motion-activated and is sold separately.
