Unbreakable bond
between cats
Cats are not as solitary as you might think. While wild cat species typically lead independent lives, pet cats can develop close, lifelong bonds with others. Even stray cats often form colonies!
The adorable tabbies in the photo are Meliodas and Nala, a pair of inseparable siblings. As kittens, they lived on a farm as part of a small litter and were put up for adoption. Jamie, their future parent, initially adopted Meliodas, planning to give him a loving home. However, just two days later, Jamie received a call asking if they would consider adopting Nala as well.
Nala and Meliodas had always been close, spending every moment together on the farm. With her brother gone, Nala had become visibly sad and lonely. Naturally, Jamie couldn’t say no to reuniting the siblings and welcomed Nala into the family too.
Now, three years later, Meliodas and Nala are still inseparable. Their bond remains as strong as ever, and they’ve brought endless joy to Jamie’s life with their sweetness and charm.
